GENERAL QUESTIONS


What do I need to get a wedding website?

All you need is an e-mail address for setting up your wedding website. Don't have an e-mail address? You can get a free e-mail from Yahoo or Hotmail.

How do I set-up/edit my wedding website?

You will have your own control panel. From this area you can access all sections of your wedding website. Just fill in the blanks, upload photos and most importantly, hit the Save button.

How long does it take to set-up wedding websites?

Set-up can take as little as 5 minutes. Set-up depends on how much information you would like to make available on your wedding website.

Do I have to keep the template I originally choose?

No. You can change your template as often as you wish; this keeps your site fresh and new to your visitors. All your content is dynamically updated into the new wedding template.

How do I let people know I have a wedding website?

Our wedding websites have a built in mailing list feature. This will allow you to enter your friends and families e-mail addresses and send them all an e-mail about your site. Other visitors can also sign-up for your mailing list and receive updates when you send them.

What if I already have a domain name?

You can use your own domain name or get another from us! If you want to use your own you will need to set the Record Type in your DNS settings to 'url frame' and direct it to your unique wedding website url (http://www.mydigisite.com). Some registrars do not let you edit this, some charge for it, yet some will allow you to edit it.

How much is a personal wedding website?

A website from mydigisite.com costs £89 for 12 months.

How much is it to keep my site online longer than a year?

You can extend your wedding website on an annual basis for £39. This means you can keep your wedding website as a permanent album that can be updated as and when you want. Details of this facility will be put online in due course.

How much does it cost to upgrade my site?

Your website will be upgradeable in the near future as and when more templates are added to the mydigisite.com website. At this time there is no charge to update your website as many times as you wish.


PHOTO QUESTIONS


How do I add photos to my wedding website?

Add photos by uploading digitised files. These can be from a digital camera, scanned pictures, or from photoCDs made from your film. Upload your homepage photo on the GENERAL SETUP page, upload your pictures for your photo album on the PHOTO ALBUM page. Photos must meet the requirements below.

What are the photo requirements?

All photos to be uploaded must be in jpg format. They must also be no larger than 374 pixels in width or height and not have a resolution higher than 72 dpi. If you have any problems resising your images, you can e-mail them to us and we will do this for you. See below.

What if I can't set my photos up?

If you have problems editing images before uploading, you can e-mail them to us to set-up for you. Be sure to include your USER ID so we know which wedding website they are to be added to.
